One flat price. Never a bill per message.
Flat monthly price. You pay for the platform, not for the messages: texts go out on the phone plan you already pay for, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
No card for the free plan. Upgrade or cancel from the dashboard, any day.

Pick by contacts, not by features
Every plan sends on both SMS and WhatsApp and every plan has the API. What changes as you move up is how many contacts you hold, how many phones you can pair, and how much you can send each month.
| Plan | Contacts | Paired phones | SMS / month | WhatsApp / month | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | 10 | 1 | 10 | 10 | USD 0 |
| Professional | 2,000 | 3 | 2,000 | 2,000 | USD 9 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | 50 | 5,000 | 10,000 | USD 19 |
The same message, three ways to send it
Rates below are illustrative US market pricing, not quotes. What matters is the shape: everyone else charges you per message, and we charge for the dashboard.
| What you are comparing | SharkSMS | SMS aggregator | WhatsApp Business API |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost per message | Whatever your mobile plan charges. Nothing extra from us. | Around $0.01, plus roughly $0.003 in carrier fees. | Billed per 24 hour conversation, around $0.025 for marketing in the US. |
| Monthly platform fee | $9 or $19, flat. | Often none, because the per-message cost is the bill. | Whatever your provider adds on top of Meta's rate. |
| Before your first message | Install the app, scan a QR code. | Register your brand and campaign, then wait for approval. | Business verification, then template approval for each message. |
| The number your customer sees | Your own number, the one they already have. | A number you rent, monthly. | A business number tied to the account. |
| SMS and WhatsApp together | One dashboard, one contact list, one schedule. | SMS only. | WhatsApp only. |
Five thousand texts a month
Illustrative US market rates, not a quote: roughly $0.0075 to $0.01 per SMS through an aggregator plus about $0.003 in carrier fees. Your own cost is whatever your mobile plan charges, which on an unlimited plan is nothing extra. Enterprise includes 5,000 SMS and 10,000 WhatsApp messages a month.

Before you sign up
Do I need to keep a phone switched on?
Yes. The paired Android phone is what physically sends each SMS, so it needs power and signal. It can be an old handset left plugged in.
What does the message itself cost?
Whatever your mobile operator charges you. We add nothing per message. If your plan includes unlimited SMS, sending costs you nothing extra.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Sending stops for that month until the counter resets or you move up a plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged automatically.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. The free plan pairs one phone and sends real messages, so you can see it work before deciding.
Do I need a particular phone?
It has to be an Android phone, and it does not have to be the one in your pocket. A cheap handset left plugged in at the shop is the usual setup. The app is installed from your own dashboard rather than the Play Store, and pairing is one QR code.
Does the free plan add anything to my messages?
Yes. Messages sent on the free plan carry a short signature line at the end. Professional and Enterprise send your text and nothing else.
Can I message customers in Spanish?
Yes. Write the message in English, pick the language in the send box, and it is translated before it is queued. It works the same on SMS and on WhatsApp.
